Garden Fresh

Spencer is really proud of the things he grew in our garden. He really liked the differant colored corn. These are our chickens all grown up really wish they would start laying eggs though. I truely LOVE My life and My family I am so blessed:)

Dragons, Fairys

I love making soft dolls and dragons and now I giving trolls a try. The dragon mearsures 17" long from the nose to the end of the tail and is jointed. I sometomes put a fat fairy riding on the back.I love making these magical creatures come alive. I hope you enjoy them :)

School Is starting but I need to keep quilting.

This first grade thing is going to be great. I love the fact that I now have a part time job at JoAnn fabrics I could just hop my fence in the back yard and be at work. having just a part time job means that I can do a little sewing without Spencer wanting something or just talking my ear off. I have finished up three little quilts trying to get a queen size paper pieced quilt done for my sister.I am also trying to get a couple dolls done. Seem as if I have hit a wall and I just need to go away for the weekend alone or with a friend a sew. Here are a few things I have been working on. A mini quilt for a swap that I am doing I'm calling this Humming bird in the garden I am hoping to get 4-5 things done this weekend so more to come.

Small Quilts for swaping

I have been working this weekend on a couple quilts for a couple small quilt swaps that I am involved in. I love them both the mermaid one is almost done have to finish the embellishments.

I truely live for times like this and my passion of making a piece of art work. Love it.

Spencer The Ring Barrier

Last weekend we went to our nieces wedding were Spencer was the ring barrier. He looked so cute and did such a great job. So we had to do the dinner the night before so this is what went on that night at the church. He and Magean really had a good time waiting for the whole thing to start.

We really had a great time and Spencer really out did himself. He and Derick were drinking beer's {Root beer's} Sitting back and relaxing getting dressed up and having a few laughs and then kicking it up on the dance floor and catching the grooms garter All in all it was a great weeknd in portland.

Some New Baby Chicks

I thought that voice said we were going to the pool? Where's the water it's a Hot day here in Seattle and it would be a great day to go to the pool. Oh that's right baby chicks don't like the water. These are our new baby chicks they are two weeks old still to little to to be in with the teens. But needed to be close.

Deanna's Sewing Room

This is a little quilt that I made for a guild member of the Needle and I the quilting guild that I belong to. We had a Brown Bag Challenge and this is the out come of 5 fat quarters I added my own backing. The cute sewing ladies were part of the bag. We had to make a small quilt for the person that put in the 5 fat quarters. Deanna has a new sewing room and she thought it would be fun to have something to hang up on the walls. I had a lot of fun with this little project. :)

Kelline and Spencer

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY KELLINE

Spencer and Kelline checking out our newly finished Chicken coop and making sure that the girls are doing good.This is our new home for our chickens no rosters live in this coop because no boys allowed. This has been so much fun:) I smile from the inside out when I think about how much fun we have had. In a couple months we will have fresh eggs these girls are the only pets in the house hold that are going to be giving back.

I Love My Brothers

Keith and Paul are the best brothers a girl could ask for.
Keith helped me build this great chicken coop for Kelline for her Mother's Day Pirze It turned out great and the Chicks love their new home. I love the colors because it matches our lawn chairs that we made a couple years ago.
Paul makes me laugh so hard that I cry happy tears ~ He nicknamed me Tiny Tears but that was because he loved me. He tells the best stories ever and gives fun tours of the back yard which is big. I love that he like me forgot to grow up but is very adult I love them both very much.

We Built a Chicken Coop

My brother Keith and I built a chicken coop for our chickens today to give to Kelline for mother's Day. Or should I say he did the building and I helped a little. We had fun though this was the first time that the big brother and the little sister did something like this together.






What a fun day we had the little sister and the big brother. It was great :)
